FRASIER’S FRIDAY FACT
Volume LXXXVIII

Hi Everyone,
Here at Frasier's Friday Fact, we discuss a lot of things - but most importantly, we cherish knowledge and continually build our mental database of useless information to use at parties.
Monday is April 1st - commonly known as April Fool's Day. Many people spend the day attempting to play pranks on their friends or spread hoaxes. So watch out! You never know if you'll be the next victim of a viral video.
One of the greatest April Fool's Day hoaxes was played by the BBC in 1957. The network aired a segment showing a Swiss family harvesting spaghetti from "spaghetti trees." Spaghetti was relatively unknown in the UK at the time, and was largely sold as canned in tomato sauce. Hundreds of viewers called the BBC to inquire about obtaining their very own "spaghetti tree," forcing the network to declare the video a hoax the next day.
Stay vigilant, my friends.
