FRASIER’S FRIDAY FACT
Volume LXXII
7/13/2018
Hello everyone, and Happy Friday!
Welcome back to FFF, where we cherish knowledge and continually build our mental database of useless information to use at parties.
Today brings us Fact LXXII, but if you're keeping track, it is also Volume II of Frasier's Freaky Friday Fact! Yes, that's right, FFF is falling on Friday the 13th for the second time in our existence.
I'll give you a quick recap of FFFF Volume I: Paraskevidekatriaphobia (say that five times fast) is the fear of Friday the 13th, from the Greek Paraskevi (Friday) and triskaideka (Thirteen). I hope you all know that "phobia" comes from phobos, meaning "fear," by now.
And now, onto a few new facts. There will always be at least one Friday the 13th every calendar year, and there can be as many as three! The longest time between instances of Friday the 13th is 14 months, and the shortest is just one month. 2018 doesn't have any more, so if you're afraid, you're safe until September 2019.
The 13th of any given month is actually more likely to fall on a Friday than any other day of the week - sorry, paraskevidekatriaphobes!
Stay freaky, my friends.
Fraish
P.S. - Also want to give a shoutout to Facter Tony Burke, who retires today! Congratulations!
