Welcome back to Frasier's Friday Fact, where we cherish knowledge and continually build our mental database of useless information to use at parties.

Summer often conjures images of beaches and sunsets. Perhaps those beaches in your daydreams are adorned by a lighthouse.

hthouse outside of the original 13 colonies was built on the shores of Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana. Now, lighthouses are cool, of course - but features of engineering are cool as well. Lake Pontchartrain also boasts the longest continuous bridge over water, the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, at 23.83 miles long!
